Why I’m Voting For McCain
October 25th, 2008Right now we have two very different platforms. On economics? On Healthcare? On education?
How about going back to basics, to “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”. Or how about just starting with “Life”.
Obama is, on the one hand, the most radical pro-abortion candidate our nation has ever seen. He has promised to pass the FOCA as soon as he gets into office. This will remove the protections that have been entered into law for the unborn, since before the act.
Why exactly does he want to remove the little protections that still exist for unborn babies?
Great question …
Plus, his voting record is starkly cold. Every time he had a chance to protect any kind of rights for the unborn (I mean rights that DIRECTLY apply to the unborn … not for the ones who do manage to be wanted at birth) he has failed to provide any protection at all. He doesn’t even want to provide healthcare to babies that survive an abortion. Those babies just get put onto a table to die slowly. Nice touch.
OK, let’s get real. In a country that boasts the greatest level of wealth and technology in the world, we are failing miserably in this one thing, that’s so foundational. It’s about LIFE.

On the other hand, McCain/Palin is the most pro-life platform ever to hit the national election stage. For me, it’s not a hard choice. I mean lets put LIFE on one side of the scale and THE ECONOMY on the other. No contest.
Does that mean we ignore the other issues?
No, of course not, they are also important.
But if we elect Obama, we are going to see a big increase in the biggest holocaust the world has ever seen. 40,000,000 babies aborted since 1970. Yes, 40 MILLION.
Come on, vote for what REALLY counts.
